Hidden forest in San Jose
Five stars is not high enough for this company. Our tour guide, Rigo, is very knowledgeable and professional, we learned a lot about wildlife on this tour. As  an animal lover one of the main reasons I visited Costa Rica was to see sloths, we tried different places to encounter one but without any luck. We did book the UCR walking tour with OTE and to our surprise, not only we saw a lot of birds, butterflies but one of my dreams came true, I was able to see 2 sloths. Words cannot describe this moment. Rigo went above and beyond in making this happen.

Irazú Volcano, Turrialba and Guayabo
This tour was an amazing experience . The  beauty of the natural setting combined with the knowledge and expertise of the our tour guide, Rigo made for an unforgettable adventure! We enjoyed the Irazu and Turrialba volcanoes and to our surprise the archaeological site of Guayabo. 
The weather was nice and clear.
I would recommend Oropopo Tour Experience for your next visit to Costa Rica.  The are not only masters at making the tour work smoothly and efficiently but also they are biologists which for us was an added value to our experience. Lots of learning.

Arribada de tortugas lora maravillosa
Participé en la Arribada de tortugas Lora en Ostional.
Realmente es una experiencia que considero, se debe vivir al menos una vez en la vida.
Nos explicaron todo respecto a este fenómeno, nos enseñan de plantas, aves, insectos. De una manera clara pero científica. Con paciencia, con dedicación por lo que están haciendo y con amor.
Conocimos Del Mar y al mismo tiempo de la montaña, de los rios.
Apoyan muchísimo el comercio tico local lo cual me parece magnífico.
El respeto y la amabilidad prevalece en todo momento.

An amazing wildlife tour that anyone can do!
The tour takes place on the campus of the University of Costa Rica. Luis, my tour guide, showed us an incredible amount of wildlife all without leaving San José. Unlike many other wildlife tours, this one is readily accessible to anyone regardless of physical limitations. Luis has an impressive wealth of knowledge about the natural world unlike some tour guides I have encountered.

Jungle experience within the city

Ruta micológica
Asistimos a la Ruta Micológica en la Estación Biologíca la Selva! La experencia estuvo increíble. Luis Fran y Andrea (los guías principales del tour) son biolólogos con muchísimo entusiasmo y conocimiento sobre la biología en general pero específicamente en hongos, junto a Marcelo y a Rigo que también nos aportaron informacion importante! Vimos muchisimos hongos chivisimas, aprendimos sobre la taxonomía de los hongos y sus partes principales y además, tuvimos una sección de laboratorio en donde tuvimos acceso a microscopios y a estereoscopios en donde pudimos ahondar muchísimo más en el mundo de los hongos! A great afternoon tour with Rigo

Ruta micológica, tour especializado en hongos
Me apunté a varias de las rutas micológica este año: monte de la cruz, el bosque del niño y la selva. Todos los tours han sido muy interesantes, entretenidos, con explicaciones detalladas y principalmente con muy buena energía. La vibra de los guías es muy buena y siempre tienen buena actitud. Si son entusiastas de hongos o fotografía natural estos tours definitivamente les van a gustar. O si simplemente están buscando un espacio natural para re-cargar buena energía les recomiendo estas experiencias
